The Point

The Point at Post Falls was a 233- acre undeveloped land parcel situated along the I-90 corridor between Coeur d’Alene and Spokane in Washington. The property was acquired and entitled as a Power/Lifestyle Shopping Center with Cabela’s as one of the anchor tenants. Cabela’s opened their doors in 2007 and is prominently situated on the northern point of the property, which can be seen for miles from the I-90 Interchange. During this time, the company worked with the Idaho State Legislation to adopt a tax incentive (STAR) which provided up to $35 million of costs to be reimbursed to the Developer for a new highway Interchange directly into the development. The Interchange opened in the Fall of 2012 which was a major milestone of the development plans. Super Walmart opened in 2011, and the final plan includes additional anchors, mid box retailers, hotels, restaurants, and a residential community.

The balance of the property was sold in 2013
